About the Band

Practice Evening

We meet each Tuesday at 7pm in the concert Hall of Wa[ton Sports and Social Club

The Hall is Open from 6.30 pm so that members can get ready, Setting their stand up and  tuning their ukuleles.

Each week a songlist is published via the club's WhasApp group and by email.

Songs can be found on our Song Catalogue web page so members can download to tablets or to print out

Session ends at 8.30pm

 

THE WAKEYLELE BAND

Wakeylele Band. based in Walton,
Wakefield were previously known as the
"Gaslighter Ukulele Band." We have
existed, in one form or another, since
2018. We have around 50 members.

We are a non-profit organization and
donate all our proceeds to charity.
We are proud to support the Yorkshire
Air Ambulance service and Wakefield
Hospice.
